There seems to be a great deal of debate as to whether the WC Subscription is for one or two years initially..... I know it 'used' to be two. At the old WC it was stated in the 'Subscription Information', but I can't seem to find it here..... did I miss something? Seems to me that's a rather significant point.

For my own edification...... when one re-downloads due to a PC crash, new PC, or whatever, do the re-downloads count again? Just curious on this point.

The subscription for new members is $20 for 1 year..For *Re-subscribers it is 2 years

As for the Download thing..I cant imagine that they could seperate it like that, you would still be downloading..I would say the count..

Back-ups are an awesome way to save all your stuff, then you would not have to search and DL..just a thought.

Thanks Zero, my original subscription was for two but I had read on some thread that it had changed to one with the renewal being for two. Since I'm thinking of getting one for my daughter I wanted to make sure.... I'm still vacillating between Object Desktop and WC.

The first time I had to redo everything I didn't know how to back-up stuff and the second time, an HP tech "newbie" messed up my PC so bad that Hewlitt Packard had to send me "WindowsXP". I wasn't laughing when it happened!

Well, no wonder I couldn't find it..... I was reading the "Subscription Info" under "Resources" on the home page. It gives a great description of everything but the length of time of the subscription.

Maybe if they see this post they'll add it there too, thanks, again!
