Having problem with "Edit Account"

When I go to "edit account" and then to "upload / edit your desktop image" it behaves as if it has uploaded the new picture, but does not change it.

Also, it shows one picture ( a much older one) in "edit account and a different one when I click on my name in the message boards.

Anyone have a clue what's going on?

Tricia - I just tried mine and it works flawlessly....when you open the WC site on IE does it have the 'Welcome Lady Aarielle' in the upper right corner?

No, won't do it with the new SDC either or IE.

I have SpywareBlaster, and SpywareGuard but I haven't seen stardock.com or anything with a related name.
On Sygate Firewall I have everything related to Stardock allowed.

BTW: it is a .JPG file...correct?

Sygate Firewall has (if I remember correctly) a privacy setting...disable it for IE until you upload the file and then re-enable it.

Yes, it says "welcome Lady Aarielle" at the top right corner.
I also, have tried this after totally disableing or shutting down the firewall.... none of that has helped.

I just tried uploading the picture after haveing disabled the spyware stuff and the firewall and sitll nothing!!

Ahhhh...I just popped up your profile and the date on it is 06/29/2004 named 'zzpurpdesktp'....is that the one you're trying to replace?

That's the one I've been trying to upload since you fixed the SDC update problem.... in other words after disableing the firewall, etc..

'zzpurpdesktp' is the name of the one I've been trying to upload right now.
Remember that it will change the name but not the picture.

Change the name to something else.....the picture there now is of a ship. Take a new screenshot and give it a different name and upload it.

IOW. it's the right name but not the right picture.
Unless we're seeing different pictures???

'zzpurpdesktp' is a purple WB called "Wrath" and my wallpaper is a ship and that's not what I'm seeing when I click on my name!!
